Toys are borrowed for a maximum two week period.
Volunteer obligations
Bayswater Toy Library is 100% run by volunteers. It is a requirement of membership for all members to assist with opening the toy library four times per year.
The duty roster is sent out to members every three months and members can allocate themselves to an opening shift or be allocated one by the committee. Members can also indicate whether they would prefer to do rosters on Tuesday afternoons or Saturday mornings.

Other costs
Missing Pieces: $2 per piece, with $1 refundable upon its return
Late Toys: $1 per toy, per week late
Damaged Toys: cost of replacement (unless damage is because of normal wear and tear)

Returning Toys
Members are responsible for returning toys cleaned and complete, no later than two weeks from when they were borrowed. Each toy is re-counted upon return to ensure that no pieces have gone missing during the borrowing period. Any damaged or missing pieces are recorded by the member on roster.
